Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and repairs are handled promptly. Duties Conduct routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and building systems to identify issues before they impact operations. Carry out painting to maintain the property's structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Read and interpret technical manuals, and facility maintenance documentation to diagnose problems accurately. Oversee facilities maintenance activities including cleaning, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. Supervise contractors when necessary, providing leadership and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all maintenance activities. Respond promptly to guest or staff repair requests with professionalism and a focus on customer service excellence. Experience Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment. Strong proven plumbing and general maintenance skills. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination with team members. Demonstrated ability to read manuals effectively.
