- 30 minute lunch 6 month Contract to Hire position

1092 Claridge-Elliott Rd, Jeannette, PA 15644 In this role, you will you'll do more than just turn a wrench, you'll you will keep the heartbeat of our recycling facility running strong. From managing performing maintenance & production inventories to troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial equipment. From troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial equipment to maintaining inventories and performing proactive maintenance. You will play a hands-on role in ensuring that our advanced recycling machinery operates at peak performance. Essential Responsibilities:
Keep our operations running smoothly with proactive preventative maintenance/ repairs. Troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical issues that keep production moving. Inspect, service, and optimize extruders, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other key equipment. Install new equipment, calibrate machines, and continually improve uptime/ efficiency. Partner with operators, and managers to WOW both internal and external customers. Lead with safety to help foster a culture of innovation, and continuous improvement. Perform miscellaneous job duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience with PLC troubleshooting/programing Skills in welding and metal fabrication Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems Knowledge of industrial automation or robotics Background in mechanical repair, machine installation, or process improvement
Basic Requirements:
At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (extrusion, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems a plus). Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders. Hands-on skills with power/hand tools, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Knowledge of PLCs, Lean manufacturing, and 5S principles. A strong team mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High school diploma or GED (trade school, associate's degree, or welding/fabrication skills preferred). Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively. Willingness to work, Ability to work overtime when needed. This role is considered safety sensitive . Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC) Must have a reliable form of transportation.
