$32 - $35 per hour Job Details - We are a leading manufacturer seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This full-time, permanent role will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring that all our equipment and machinery are functioning at optimal levels to support our manufacturing processes. You will be working in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where your skills in GMP, Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repairing, and Preventive Maintenance will be put to the test.Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction. 2. Applying your knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) to ensure all operations adhere to quality standards and regulations. 3. Conducting routine preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment operational, reduce downtime, and improve productivity. 4. Troubleshooting and repairing faults in machinery and equipment swiftly and efficiently to minimize production downtime. 5. Collaborating with the operations team to understand equipment needs and plan maintenance work accordingly. 6. Maintaining detailed records of performed maintenance tasks, identified issues, and implemented solutions. 7. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and maintenance methodologies to improve our processes and practices. 8. Training other team members on equipment handling and basic maintenance tasks to foster a culture of responsibility and care.Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry. 2. Proficiency in GMP, Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repairing, and Preventive Maintenance. 3. A technical degree or certification in a relevant field. 4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues. 5. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and management. 6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. 7. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. 8. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. 9. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
