General Manager Job Summary Are you a handy, high-energy individual who loves to solve problems? As our Maintenance Technician, you are a vital part of the team dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and "moment of magic" experience for every guest at our 66-room property . You will be the primary point of contact for keeping our hotel in peak condition. From handling general repairs and pool chemistry to staying ahead of issues through preventative maintenance, you ensure our facilities look and function perfectly for every traveler.

Key Responsibilities Property Upkeep:

Perform routine repairs including painting, drywall patchwork, light plumbing, and electrical work.

Guest Satisfaction:

Earnestly respond to guest requests (e.g., troubleshooting a TV or HVAC unit) to ensure their personal comfort and safety.

Pool Care:

Maintain the daily cleanliness, chemical balance, and safety standards of the pool area.

Preventative Maintenance:

Execute the hotel's PM program, systematically checking guestrooms and public spaces to ensure everything is in working order before a guest arrives.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are "guest-ready" and meet high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Safety & Security:

Maintain the highest standards for equipment use and property safety to protect our guests and fellow associates. Qualifications & Skills The "People Person"

Factor:

You are friendly, approachable, and enjoy interacting with guests and teammates alike.

Maintenance Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year in building maintenance or a similar field. You must be proficient with hand and power tools.

Technical Knowledge:

Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.

Time Management:

Strong organizational skills to manage daily work orders alongside long-term projects.

Flexibility:

A schedule that adapts to the needs of a 24/7 hotel operation.

Position Details & Benefits Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours/week).

Compensation:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience).
