PA Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility is to assist the maintenance team and with maintaining outdoor spaces. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks to ensure that lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas are well-kept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic maintenance knowledge, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Position Responsibilities:

Mow lawns use manual or motorized equipment. Landscape maintenance. Rodent Control. Snow Removal. Equipment, repairs & maintenance. Metal Fabrication. Welding a plus. Residential maintenance. General clean-up. Equipment operator-tractor, telehandler, forklift, boom and scissor lift. Maintain backup generators. Maintain foot sprayers. Inventory parts & fasteners. Supply parts to team members in the barn. Trim and edge lawns maintain a neat and uniform appearance. Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed. Plant, transplant, and prune flowers, shrubs, and trees. Clean and maintain paths, walkways, and other hard-scape features. Collect and dispose of litter, leaves, and other debris from outdoor areas. Keep outdoor spaces free of clutter and hazards. Assist with seasonal tasks. Additional tasks as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:

Maintenance experience required. Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine, birds, sheep, goats or unprocessed eggs. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred but not required. ​​​​​​​ Physical fitness and the ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Ability to perform essential functions of the job . Capable of working weekends and maintaining a flexible schedule. This includes regularly scheduled shifts. Saturday and Sunday as well.
