Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to minimize operational disruptions. Maintain HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise and support. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects when necessary. Document all maintenance activities meticulously, including repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for future reference. Must be available on weekends and on call shifts. Experience Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in commercial or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, equipment repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals is essential. Knowledge of construction practices related to building maintenance is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate with contractors effectively. Prior experience working with HVAC systems—including refrigeration—is highly desirable. Pay:

$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
