Job Description
3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and conducting timely repairs. You will perform root cause analysis to solve problems related to equipment downtime and work with minimal supervision, ensuring you are self-motivated, dependable, punctual, organized, and consistently in attendance for work duties. You will also submit detailed work orders into our CMMS for reporting purposes and establish and maintain positive relationships with both maintenance and production employees, all while complying with company safety standards. Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems and conduct timely repairs. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and solve issues related to equipment downtime. Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring dependability and punctuality. Submit detailed work orders into CMMS for each call. Maintain positive relationships with maintenance and production employees. Comply with company safety standards. Essential Skills Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Analytical skills to proactively solve problems and implement solutions. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proven computer skills with Microsoft Products. Competence with CMMS or related systems. Knowledge of power and hand tools. Experience with PIT. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Capacity to meet the demands of the position, including mandated overtime as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mountain Top, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
