Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role offers flexible shift options, including a 1st shift from 7am-7pm and a 3rd shift from 7pm-7am. Both shifts operate on a 4x2 rotating schedule, requiring work every other weekend. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production and auxiliary production equipment. Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational readiness. Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on equipment and building systems to minimize downtime. Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems to properly make repairs. Dismantle machines and equipment to inspect, test, and perform preventative maintenance. Follow all safety procedures and take a proactive role in plant safety; ensure that equipment conforms to safety regulations. Communicate daily issues and information to supervisors and other employees as needed. Essential Skills Industrial Electrical Experience with at least PLC troubleshooting experience, VFD's, drivers, and panel signal experience. Manufacturing Experience. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing Environment. Previous Tube Manufacturing experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Problem-solving, individual and group facilitation skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
