Job Description

Maintenance & Facilities Attendant Position Purpose Keep Hank's property, customer areas, employee areas, and back-of-house spaces clean, safe, stocked, and presentable every day.
Reports To:
Manager on Duty Daily Responsibilities Outside / Customer Areas Empty, clean, and maintain all Hank's garbage cans. Keep tables, seating areas, sidewalks, and the parking lot clean and free of trash, spills, debris, and mess. Power wash the Custard area and garbage cans as scheduled to keep them clean and presentable. Clean front counters and customer-facing windows. Clean exterior signage and pop machines located out front. Notify the Manager on Duty of safety concerns, including spills, broken tables, damaged signs, potholes, lighting issues, ice, or trip hazards.
Inside / Back
-of-House Areas Clean walk-in freezers and refrigerators, including floors, shelving, handles, doors, and visible spills, following food-safety procedures. Sweep and mop the back-room floor. Clean and organize the break room. Clean and stock both customer and employee bathrooms, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and cleaning supplies. Keep cleaning tools, chemicals, and supply areas organized and safely stored. Maintenance Communication Report all maintenance concerns to the Manager on Duty immediately. Include what is wrong, where it is located, and whether it creates a safety, customer-service, or food-safety concern.
Examples:
equipment not working, leaks, damaged tables, broken signage, light bulbs out, bathroom issues, damaged flooring, or freezer/refrigerator concerns. Do not rely only on verbal communication—ensure the issue is added to the Communication Board or Maintenance Log. Success Looks Like Guests arrive to a clean parking lot, clean tables, clean windows, and a presentable storefront. Bathrooms are clean, stocked, and checked throughout the day. Back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and safe. Garbage cans and Custard areas look clean—not neglected. Maintenance issues are reported early before they become bigger problems.
Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
