We're looking for an experienced field technician with truck & tools to cover Philadelphia area + 1-hour radius( Lancaster, allentown, Harrisburg) for service calls and light installs. You'll get flat pay per completed service call, plus extra on larger jobs. We handle sales, billing, and clients - you focus on the work.
Responsibilities:
Same-day and emergency door & glass service for commercial and some residential: Storefront door adjustments, pivots, hinges, closers, panic bars Glass replacement (tempered/insulated), board-ups Basic lock/exit hardware swaps (if you do locksmith work, even better) Take photos, write simple notes of work done Communicate status via phone / text with dispatcher Be able to arrive within ~2 hours for urgent calls in your territory when you accept the job
Requirements:
1+ years experience in glass, doors, or glazing (storefronts, aluminum, commercial doors, etc.) Own truck/van and basic glass & door tools professional attitude with customers Able to work evenings / some weekends for emergency calls
Pay:
$60 per completed service call (diagnostic + basic adjustment, ~30 min) Extra labor pay for longer jobs (hourly or per scope) Extra pay for Emergency calls. Percentage of labor on larger projects & glass replacements Paid Bi- weekly by direct deposit / Zelle with detailed job report
