Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in Loom Machines to join our manufacturing operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of loom machinery used in textile production. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and equipment repair within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining continuous production flow, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall operational excellence. Key responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing complex loom systems, and implementing improvements to enhance machine efficiency. You will work closely with engineering teams to interpret schematics, electrical blueprints, and control systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Your technical proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic and welding will be essential for effective troubleshooting and repairs. Additionally, colaboration to internal teams and adhering to safety standards are fundamental aspects of this role. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on loom machines to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Diagnose mechanical issues involving gears, belts, bearings, and other mechanical components; execute repairs efficiently. Utilize industrial maintenance techniques including welding ( welding), hydraulic repairs, and pneumatic system troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and control panel layouts for troubleshooting complex issues. Conduct calibration of precision measuring instruments to ensure machine accuracy. Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access to high or difficult-to-reach areas. Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades or modifications involving PLC programming or electrical system enhancements. Assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness across the facility. Experience Proven experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on industrial machinery maintenance. Extensive knowledge of industrial electrician practices including electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and reading schematics. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of loom machines or similar textile machinery. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Technical proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and mechanical repair methods. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex equipment issues quickly and accurately. Demonstrated ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, ammeters, and ohmmeters effectively. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration. Industrial mechanic experience combined with customer service orientation to support internal clients effectively.
