The Senior Grounds & Maintenance Technician provides grounds and building maintenance services for auxiliary Sight & Sound properties, as well as support the whole Facilities Management team on the primary property as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality grounds, field, fence, and building maintenance at Sight & Sound auxiliary properties year-round. This includes snow and ice treatment and removal. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in all grounds and facilities working areas. Effectively maintain Grounds & Maintenance department equipment. Perform minor equipment & vehicle maintenance and coordinate major repairs and service. Coordinate equipment rentals for special projects on Sight & Sound auxiliary properties.
Prerequisites:
Demonstrated experience in groundskeeping duties, including operating and maintaining grounds, basic farm equipment. shrubbery trimming, mulching, landscape improvements, and repairs Landscaping experience including new plantings and the removal of dead or damaged plants Familiarity with fertilization and/or chemicals for foliage control and plant varieties and care Experience with general building maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, and interior and exterior building repairs and improvements Comfortable leading when needed, and able to take instruction and work alongside others Ability to work independent and collaboratively In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
