Maintenance Technician — $25.63 to $41.52/Hour, 4-Day Work Week, Weekly Pay Earn $25.63 to $41.52/hour based on your experience and skill assessment, paid weekly. Work first shift Monday through Thursday with overtime available, and join one of America's most respected cabinet makers.
This is hands-on industrial maintenance:

Schedule:
Full time, 1st shift, Monday to Thursday, approximately 7:00am to 5:30pm

Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team performing repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment at our manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the assigned department(s) are maintained in good working order in a manner that prevents disruption of the site's operations and in accordance with OSHA safety standards. The role ensures implementation of short and long-term strategies for preventative maintenance scheduling and execution, timely corrective actions, and general site maintenance needs. What You'll Do Consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems. Comply with applicable OSHA regulations, Cabinetworks Group H&S policies, and EPA regulations Diagnose, report, and repair sub-standard equipment by troubleshooting to the component level Prepare for use, perform operational checks, inspect, and complete routine repairs and major overhauls with little or no immediate supervision Request and withdraw parts from inventory, and replace defective or worn parts to make all necessary adjustments for proper operation of the equipment Prevent equipment down time through observation and communication with production staff and maintenance leadership. Assist engineers in diagnosing problems and suggest corrective action. Contribute to team decision making and provide support in project work and other special requests Continuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product and process quality and reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work Communicate and document all work performed in CMMS (Limble), in compliance with work order process guidelines Improvise acceptable fixes to get equipment running promptly Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within the department and assist other areas as required What You'll Bring Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certifications in a technical or manufacturing field a definite plus Must possess a valid driver's license 3+ years' experience in a heavy mechanical or electrical manufacturing environment 3+ years' experience in plumbing Knowledge of hydraulic systems HVAC/Boiler knowledge is a plus Experience with Preventative Maintenance (PM) Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of TPM, Lean, or other continuous improvement processes Computer literacy with the ability to learn new software programs Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) trained or willing to become trained Proficient reading technical documents, drawings, and schematics Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participating work system Ability to work independently and in a team setting in a safe and timely manner Motivated toward productivity improvements, safety, and quality awareness Working knowledge of department safety, quality, and operational procedures, training manuals, and company policies Understanding of various environmental and machining processes that might result in non-conformance to company, EPA, or OSHA compliance Knowledge of MS products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and use of computer/iPad Physical Requirements Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weight up to 75 lbs occasionally, with an average weight of 1 lb to 50 lbs frequently Work at a swift and steady pace.
