Part-Time Preventative Maintenance Technician Shiny Shell Carwash - 5.0 Selinsgrove, PA Job Details Part-time $16.50 - $17.50 an hour 11 days ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience English Manufacturing facility experience Hand tools Full Job Description Job Overview Shiny Shell Carwash-Selinsgrove is seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Preventative Maintenance Technician to help maintain and service our carwash equipment and facility. This position is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs to ensure the car wash operates safely and efficiently. Duties Perform routine preventative maintenance on carwash equipment, conveyors, dryers, and trench. Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, damage, or malfunctions. Lubricate moving parts and replace belts, hoses, filters, and other components as needed. Keep trench below the carwash track clean and free of debris to ensure proper drainage and reduce buildup in the reclaim water system. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using an easy-to-use computerized activities list (Jolt). Troubleshoot minor plumbing and mechanical issues. Log and report major repair needs to management in a timely manner. Respond to occasional emergency maintenance / repairs requests. Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to maintenance of equipment and facilities Skills Basic mechanical and/or facilities maintenance experience. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in wet or outdoor conditions. Basic understanding of pumps, motors, air compressors, and/or hydraulic systems is a plus. Fluency in English is required for clear communication across team members and for documentation purposes. Shiny Shell Selinsgrove is a tobacco-free facility (including e-cigarettes).
