Position:
Building Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
As the Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing strategic maintenance plans, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance programs, including preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance, to ensure all building systems operate efficiently and reliably. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement. Oversee budgetary aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining quality standards. Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, repairs, and renovations to minimize disruption to daily operations. Collaborate with various departments to address their specific maintenance needs and support their objectives. Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes. Source and monitor external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks and projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory. Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and advancements in building maintenance to enhance the organization's operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Personnel or a similar role in building maintenance. Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.

8 Hour Shift Monday To Friday Additional hours as needed.
