In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to professional for maintaining building systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs that enhance guest comfort and safety. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to creating a welcoming, well-maintained environment that guests love and staff rely on. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance knowledge in a vibrant hospitality setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, and diagnostic devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding and carpentry tasks to address structural repairs or modifications within the hotel premises. Maintain building interior aesthetics through painting, maintenance painting, and other cosmetic repairs to uphold high standards of appearance. Follow safety protocols while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment, and HVAC systems to prevent hazards. Document maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports; interpret schematics for complex repairs or installations. Lead or assist with small projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations while ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with a strong background in mechanical knowledge and electrical work. Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, and electrical equipment repair. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable for troubleshooting automated systems. Ability to perform building interior maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and HVAC servicing. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members or contractors. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Valid experience with facilities equipment maintenance in a hospitality or residential environment is preferred.
