Job Description
GN Associates is searching for a skilled maintenance technician to join their team. We are a family- owned business; locally owned and managed for over 40 years. Our portfolio includes 8 student housing apartment buildings, 3 commercial real estate spaces and a furniture store. A qualified candidate must be proficient in the following skills: Carpentry, including finish work Interior and Exterior Painting Drywall repair including painting Hang drywall and perform all finish work Appliance repair to include washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves and garbage disposals Basic electrical work Plumbing to include the ability to troubleshoot problem areas where leaks may occur and other moisture Vertical blind repair and installation Glass and window installation as needed Door and lock repair HVAC preventive maintenance and repair Furniture assembly as needed Grounds keeping including seasonal clean up, trash removal and other related duties Ability to read a tape measure Communication and organization Other requirements shall include but are not limited to: Ability to lift 100+ pounds Work independently and as part of a team Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation Ability to pass a drug and background test Working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Mandatory on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls and situations. Due to the nature of our business, extended hours are required during the month of August. Benefits offered after a 90-day probationary period are employer-paid health and dental insurance, 401(k) and PTO (paid time off).
