JOB SUMMARY

This Handyman position performs a variety of light maintenance & housekeeping duties and is assigned to work for either the Maintenance Supervisor, Project Manager, or Regional Manager. The Maintenance is guided by a general knowledge of building trades, carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, light plumbing, patching, mechanical system repairs, plant maintenance, and the use of tools and basic maintenance supplies.

Required Expectations:

Ø Understanding and applied experience of Janitorial Services and general maintenance aspects. Ø Experience in pressure washing and at least 2 years in a janitorial and maintenance field. Ø An understanding of all company policies and procedures. Ø Be a problem solver. Ø Be visionary and proactive. Ø People skills Ø Keep open lines of communications.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Equipment, Machine, or Manual Skills Required:

General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment. A demonstrated skill in one trade and basic understanding of other trades acquired through similar on-the-job training.

Physical Demands:

Sits, stands, bends, kneels, climbs stairs, ladders, and equipment, has good sense of balance to work on heights. Some lifting of medium and/or heavy equipment and tools. Must be able to lift 60lbs and push/pull large trash receptacles.

Working Conditions:

Some exposure to extreme degrees of heat, noise, dust and dirt areas requiring infection control. Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions sometimes under stress. Work whatever hours necessary to maintain facility in safe manner including weekends and nights.

Tuesday thru Saturday 7am-330pm
