PM Position Summary:

Under supervision of Facilities Maintenance Manager this position is responsible for Maintenance repair work and general upkeep for all RVTA related facilities .

Essential Functions :

List the absolute essential job duties. Meaning the person must be able to do these things. Perform general maintenance in all RVTA related facilities as follows: Lighting - light bulbs and ballasts Electrical repairs Painting Plumbing repairs Carpentry tasks (installations & repairs) Door and door hardware (installation & repairs) Able to operate machinery and commercial equipment such as all power tools, saws, routers, landscape equipment, Bobcat, Ariel lift. Follow Building Codes and Standards And to perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Plumbing repairs Carpentry repairs Painting Light bulbs and ballast repairs Wallpapering Carpet installation

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Trade diploma, or associate's degree in building maintenance technology preferred 3-5 years Building Maintenance or field experience

Machines, Tools Equipment and Work Aids:

• Power tools
• Hand tools
• Equipment - Snow removal snow blowers, Bobcat,
• Vehicle - must have valid Pennsylvania Driver's license

Physical Requirements:

Able to climb ladders Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to drive to various facility locations Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel; reach above shoulder level and twist body periodically throughout the day. Must possess sight/hearing sense so that the requirements of the position can be fully met. Ability to utilize hands for repetitive actions.
