In this role, you'll perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment, facilities, and grounds to keep operations running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in maintaining equipment and facilities, and can work independently when needed. What You'll Do Fixing & Maintaining Equipment Help keep machines and equipment running smoothly Do basic maintenance like checking parts, adding lubrication, changing filters, and cleaning Help fix mechanical and electrical issues Follow a simple maintenance schedule Share ideas if you notice better ways to keep things running Building & Outdoor Work Help take care of the building and property inside and out Pitch in with things like snow removal, small repairs, and cleaning vehicles Working with Others Work alongside outside vendors and contractors when needed Help make sure work gets done correctly and on time Safety Follow safety guidelines Be part of a team that looks out for each other Learn basic safety systems like fire protection and security Jump in to help with other maintenance tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED About 2 years of hands-on experience (we're open to training the right person) Some basic experience with tools, machines, or equipment Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work on your own and stay organized Basic reading, math, and communication skills Basic computer skills Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Technical training or certifications Ability to read manuals or diagrams Experience with machining, electrical systems, HVAC, or similar work Forklift or lift equipment experience Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and climb throughout the workday Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work at heights using ladders and platforms Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands, arms, and tools Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons, including inclement weather Visual and manual dexterity required to safely perform maintenance and repairs Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Pre-Employment Requirements All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
