Philly's Best Steak Company Inc. is a leading Philadelphia area meat processing facility specializing in the manufacturing of Philly-style steak products. The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician will support production from a maintenance perspective, complete work orders and PMs, and maintain Philly's Best Steak facilities overall.

Full-Time /
Non-Exempt Schedule:
5-6 days per week, 6:30 am - 4 pm or completion of production Occasionally, additional days and hours may be required to complete tasks and/or projects
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting of automated electrical equipment. Installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of various processing equipment (AC/DC motors, gear boxes, pumps, bearings, shafts, sprockets, conveyor belts, pneumatic, pumps, etc.). Responsible for Line Setup and Changeovers. Troubleshooting and testing for censors, eyes, conveyors, and start/stop equipment. Scheduling parts orders and completing work orders. Advanced knowledge of a variety of power and manual tools. Experience with preventative maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance audits of plant equipment. General knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, and general maintenance. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a maintenance mechanic or electromechanical technician. Experience with basic pneumatic components. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns). Experience with installation and troubleshooting motors. Experience with mechanical systems (chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings). Experience with pumps (troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors,). Experience in the food processing industry is strongly preferred.
