The position is split approximately 50/50 between the two functions. Facilities Maintenance (50%) Respond to assigned maintenance tickets within defined service timeframes Perform minor repairs: Plumbing (fix leaks, unclog drains, replace fixtures) Electrical (replace bulbs, outlets, switches) Door adjustments, hardware installation, minor patchwork) Conduct routine inspections of HVAC units, lighting systems, and restroom fixtures/water systems; replace filters and minor components Assist with preventative maintenance activities Document completed work and note follow-up needs Elevate repair tasks that exceed current qualification level Day Porter / Cleaning (50%) Provide ongoing (not just end-of-day) cleaning of common areas: lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, hallway= Clean and sanitize fixtures multiple times daily; sweep, mop, vacuum, dust Address spills, hazards, and urgent cleaning needs promptly Empty trash and recycling regularly, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas Restock soap, paper products, and hygiene supplies; track and report inventory levels to supervisor Monitor for plumbing/sanitation issues and report promptly Maintain a neat, professional facility appearance at all times
