is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start.

• Responsibilities

• Pay Rate:

  $36.95 an hour We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support, maintain, and repair production and facility equipment in a safe, efficient, and food‑safe environment. You'll help ensure equipment reliability, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement across the plant
• Key Responsibilities
• + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and building systems (mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics/pneumatics, HVAC/steam, welding/fabrication).

+ Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. + Communicate effectively with maintenance and production teams. + Complete work orders accurately and on time; help maintain parts inventory. + Follow all plant, safety, and SQF/food‑safety requirements. + Work collaboratively with operators to identify process improvements. + Perform additional duties as needed.

• Qualifications
• What You Need
• + Education/experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance (Associate degree or technical certificate preferred).

+ Knowledge of industrial electricity, motor controls, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, robotics, welding, machining, and rigging. + Ability to use diagnostic tools (voltmeters, ohm meters, etc.). + Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. + Ability to work independently and learn CMMS systems. + Understanding of OSHA safety practices (LOTO, PPE, confined space, etc.).

• Physical Requirements
• + Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including every other weekend.

+ Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and reaching. + Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and in varying temperatures/noise levels. + Must wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines. The pay range for this position is $36.00 to $36.00 per hour.
