Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Coordinator/Working Supervisor to lead and manage our residential and commercial real estate day to day operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities across our properties. Your expertise in property management, mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing and project coordination will ensure our facilities operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Duties Coordinate and supervise routine and preventive maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), low voltage, high voltage systems and building envelopes. Manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and inventory levels. Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing team. Conduct inspections of facilities for routine maintenance and repairs. Receive, prioritize and resolve tenant maintenance requests. Develop and implement projects related to property maintenance, facilities upgrades or new installations while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, equipment performance data, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve facilities management processes, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with knowledge of building plumbing and electrical systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and safety protocols related to building systems Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously within property or project management settings. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork while maintaining a focus on safety standards and operational excellence. Pay:
$24.00 - $35.00 per hour
