Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Technician to join our residential community team in Greenwood, SC. This full-time position involves a variety of maintenance, repair, and remodeling duties, primarily focused on maintaining and improving residential/mobile home units and community grounds. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections of common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment. Maintain community grounds by removing trash, debris, and other hazards. Inspect residential units to verify maintenance, safety, and compliance standards are met. Prepare detailed, itemized cost estimates for turning vacant units and preparing them for new occupancy. Perform repairs, renovations, remodeling, and general maintenance on residential units as needed. Complete and maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and completed projects. Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner. Communicate maintenance issues, safety concerns, and compliance matters promptly to management. Work closely with property management to ensure projects remain on schedule and deadlines are met. Qualifications Experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, or related trades required . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship. Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming community environment. Professional and respectful interaction with residents, coworkers, vendors, and management.
Compensation & Bonus Opportunities Hourly Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
