Summary:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Industrial Maintenance Technician completes preventative maintenance and repair of the recycling plants equipment to ensure uninterrupted day-to-day operations. Ensures that all work activities are conducted in a safe and orderly operation.

Hours:

8 hour shift - Monday - Friday 4:30am to 5:00pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 1. Performs repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks for all processing equipment, including diagnostic evaluation of equipment. 2. Knowledge of any of the following are preferred but not required: conveyer belt systems, gears, bearings, chains, motors, welding, and electrical. 3. Responds to unplanned operational or maintenance events. 4. Preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspection, and adjustments. 5. Document and notify management in the event of any condition that may pose a risk to safety including physical, biological, or chemical hazards. 6. Follows all inventory and supply replacement part procedures. 7. Operates power driven machinery such as forklifts, boom trucks, or other similarly sized equipment. 8. Maintain a clean work area at all times. 9. Wear required PPE at all times. 10. Other duties as assigned.
