Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of residential properties. This position plays a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction by responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, and helping maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and other building systems. Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues. Assist with apartment turnovers, including preparing vacant units for new residents. Maintain common areas, grounds, and property amenities as needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management regarding maintenance concerns and updates. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
