Job Description

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical systems with precision, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and other mechanical components to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system performance using maintenance management software. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety standards.
Job Description:
Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met. Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds. Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance. Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages. Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with the supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Affordable housing experience is a plus. Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed. Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service. Willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve. Strong belief in the value of teamwork and collaboration. Reliable and committed to doing the right thing at all times. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Personal standards of appearance and dress compatible with the Company's standards. Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
