Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Mechanic position in Rock Hill, SC. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, addressing equipment repairs and malfunctions, and ensuring the efficient operation of industrial machinery. Responsibilities also include diagnosing issues, performing corrective maintenance, and assisting in the installation of new equipment. The role requires ensuring all equipment is in proper working order to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems. Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose issues Repair or replace faulty parts and implement machinery upgrades or modifications as required Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints needed to guide maintenance work Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Maintain clean and organized work areas and document maintenance activities Perform welding, pipework, and/or basic electrical tasks as required Coordinate with team members and other staff to optimize equipment performance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training, or associate degree/certifications in industrial maintenance or building maintenance 5-10 years of multi-craft maintenance experience Welding experience with MIG, TIG, oxy/acetylene Electrical troubleshooting with 480, 3-phase power Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Familiarity with safety regulations and operating procedures Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment Ability to work in awkward or confined spaces Proficiency with hand and power tools and basic machinery operation Ability to fabricate light metal structures
Pay:
$62,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
