Schedule:
8 AM to 5 PM About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintaince Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience assembling, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment in a manufacturing or process-driven environment. Experience in chemical processing, plastics manufacturing, mixing operations, or similar environments is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Assemble complex electromechanical equipment accurately and efficiently using work instructions, schematics, drawings, and other technical documentation. Work independently to complete assembly assignments within established timelines. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, defects, rework, and part shortages. Provide engineering support and maintenance services in support of plastics materials production. Troubleshoot equipment and process faults by identifying root causes and developing effective countermeasures. Assist Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams with testing, process definition, triage, and debugging activities. Perform and manage preventive maintenance activities for processing and support equipment. Repair equipment directly or coordinate contractors when specialized repairs are required. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, product quality, assembly processes, tools, and fixtures. Transfer troubleshooting knowledge and best practices to the manufacturing team. Qualifications AA/AS degree preferred. 2-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly involving complex equipment. Experience in chemical processing, plastics manufacturing, mixing operations, or another process-driven manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions. Experience red-lining and updating assembly instructions is a plus. Hands-on experience repairing processing and support equipment. Ability to use and work safely with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
