SWIMMING POOL TECHNICIAN
Job Description Carolina Aqua Clear Pools & Spas is actively recruiting a full-time Swimming Pool Technician to join our team of skilled professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care and communication to our growing client base. Carolina Aqua Clear has been in the pool cleaning, pool maintenance, and chemical management industry since 1984. With two decades of commitment and unrivaled service to our clients in communities throughout the Grand Strand. Our primary service areas include Surfside Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, the Debordieu Community, and North Myrtle Beach. We strive to create a work culture that is enjoyable for our employees so that they can enjoy a proper work life balance for themselves and their families.Job Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and update the pool services provided to clients in our software system.
- Utilize a smartphone to input data from each pool service stop for proper record keeping and communication with our clients.
- Independently manage a swimming pool route that includes cleaning 40-55 swimming pools each week.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools by regularly testing water chemistry, cleaning the pool, performing minor repairs on pool equipment like pumps and filters, applying necessary chemicals, and ensuring the pool operates safely and according to health regulations.
- Identify pool equipment malfunctions, leaks, or other issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing client inquiries, concerns and resolving any pool-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing pool maintenance techniques.
- On-the-Job-Training and orientation of the Standard Operating Procedures is provided during the first several weeks of employment.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Successfully pass a background check
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or related field. (Although, on-site training is provided.)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Reliable transportation to/from work location in Surfside Beach, SC 29575
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, prolonged standing, and to lift 50-60 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors and endure heat, cold and various weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate customer needs.
- Motivated self-starter, and detail-oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be able to swim
License/Certification:
- Driver's License with clean driving record (Required)
