Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Union, SC. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, with a focus on mixers, shafts, bearings, and blending systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining operational uptime and safety.
Responsibilities:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour ( Depending on experience) 1st shift 8:00am-4:30pm Monday - Friday Perform mechanical maintenance on production and blending equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair shafts, bearings, and chasses used in mixing operations. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. Perform equipment adjustments, lubrication, and alignment as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with production staff and supervisors. Work independently while following all safety and company protocols. Qualifications 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with shaft and bearing mixer components and chassie assemblies for blending equipment. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work in a physically demanding and dirty environment. Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently. Welding and/or CDL experience a plus — additional bonus pay available for these skills. Uniforms provided, along with on-site washers, dryers, and showers for employee convenience Work Environment This is a hands-on, dirty job that requires comfort working around heavy equipment and production machinery. The company provides all necessary protective gear and a supportive team environment.
