Job Description
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping operations running smoothly? Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) is looking for a motivated, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Aberdeen! In this role, you'll help maintain facility equipment and complete repairs efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting production operations. What You'll Do Monitor, repair, and maintain plumbing, pipefitting, and gearboxes throughout the facility Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting to complete repairs Complete daily paperwork, equipment inspections, and locate parts for departments as needed Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs when appropriate Maintain plant sanitation standards Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For High School diploma or equivalent Experience in a mechanically related field preferred Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders Skilled with hand tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers Strong communication and teamwork skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen Why Employees Stay We offer industry-leading benefits and long-term stability, including: Competitive pay with advancement opportunities Clothing and boot allowance 401(k) retirement plan (Roth and Traditional options) with a company match 100% employer-funded pension plan No-wait medical benefits Paid training and career development Long term disability insurance & salary continuation Company paid life insurance Wellness program Tuition reimbursement Adoption assistance Paid time off Who We Are Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative founded in 1983 that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
