Job Description
Masaba Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations building heavy-duty equipment for mining, aggregate, and recycling. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, plants, and material handling systems, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and fabrication teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and work in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment with opportunities to grow your technical skills. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and conveyors Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime Inspect, repair, and replace parts on heavy-duty material handling systems Follow safety procedures and support a clean, organized work environment Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to resolve equipment problems Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and basic documentation Assist with equipment installations, setups, and continuous improvement projects Use hand and power tools, welders, and basic diagnostic equipment safely Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Hydraulic systems Basic electrical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Reading technical drawings and schematics Welding and fabrication Use of hand and power tools Equipment installation and alignment Safety and OSHA compliance
