About the Role As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the seamless operation of our production environment by proactively maintaining critical mechanical and electrical systems. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and optimizing equipment performance through expert troubleshooting and preventative care. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures to maintain continuous production flow. Execute emergency repairs and conduct thorough root cause analysis to prevent future equipment issues. Manage facility-wide maintenance tasks, ensuring all infrastructure meets operational standards. Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to perform precise equipment adjustments. Document maintenance activities and update work orders within our digital management platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold a culture of safety and operational excellence. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree or trade certification preferred. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on industrial maintenance experience. Strong proficiency in 480V 3-phase electrical systems and low-voltage controls. Demonstrated ability to safely operate pneumatic devices and mechanical systems. Solid understanding of OSHA industrial safety standards and risk mitigation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer-based maintenance software. Preferred Skills Proven experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to lift and maneuver heavy components.
