Job Description
- Maintenance Technician
- Pay: $25 - 25.75 per hour

- Position Overview
- Adecco is seeking an experienced
- Maintenance Technician
- to support our blown film extrusion manufacturing operations.
This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving extrusion equipment and related production systems to maximize uptime, ensure product quality, and support safe plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with plastics or extrusion experience highly preferred.
- Responsibilities
- + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain blown film extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment.
+ Diagnose electrical systems including AC/DC motors, VFDs, drives, heater bands, thermocouples, temperature controllers, and PID controls.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, B&R, and similar automation systems.
+ Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
+ Repair and rebuild industrial equipment including gearboxes, bearings, motors, couplings, and drive systems.
+ Perform equipment alignment and mechanical troubleshooting on rotating machinery.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Complete welding and light fabrication repairs as needed using MIG, TIG, or Stick welding processes.
+ Respond to production equipment breakdowns and work to minimize downtime.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory documentation.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and production efficiency.
+ Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and plant safety standards.
- Qualifications
- + High School Diploma or GED. + Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. + Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Ability to use multimeters and other electrical diagnostic equipment. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. + Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional emergency call-ins as needed.
- Preferred
- + Experience in plastics manufacturing, blown film extrusion, or extrusion-based production environments. + Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment. + Welding and fabrication experience. + Industrial automation and controls experience.
- Physical Requirements
- + Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb ladders, and work in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Ability to safely work around moving equipment, elevated work areas, and electrical systems.
