Job Description
About us Columbia Housing and Redevelopment Corporation mission is to provide outstanding affordable housing and redevelopment services to improve the quality of life of our residents and the community. The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for semi-skilled maintenance of buildings, facilities, grounds, and light equipment. The individual performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and general repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment in response to service requests. These tasks are to be performed in compliance with HUD RAD Physical Condition Assessments and National Standards for Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE).
