Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Staff member to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a fast-paced setting where teamwork and problem-solving are key to success. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure smooth operation. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools. Conduct painting, drywall, and general facilities maintenance tasks to uphold building standards. Maintain facilities equipment by replacing parts, repairing electrical equipment, and performing plumbing system repairs as needed. Lead small maintenance projects with attention to safety protocols while coordinating with team members or contractors when necessary. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, schematics updates, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants. Skills Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in electrical work and plumbing system maintenance. Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair including troubleshooting thermostats, compressors, fans, and ductwork. Skilled in maintenance painting and general facilities upkeep. Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures to ensure operational efficiency. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
