Job Description

Roles Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of operations to move, install, maintain, and repair plant machines, mechanical systems, and equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues involving pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical components, and electrical/electronic systems. Perform preventive maintenance tasks and predictive maintenance checks as assigned. Assist with equipment setups, adjustments, and calibration to support production needs. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, routings, and technical manuals. Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software for work orders, documentation, and parts tracking (training provided if needed). Support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement activities, and process optimizations. Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment in clean, organized, and safe condition. Comply with OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, environmental policies, and all company safety standards. Interact constructively with plant employees and communicate effectively across departments. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required (certification preferred). Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize production downtime. Adapt to changing priorities and perform other tasks as assigned. Maintain punctual daily attendance, including occasional Saturdays and/or Sundays when required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with PLC systems (troubleshooting and/or programming). Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues involving pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and routings. Computer proficiency with the ability to navigate Oracle and Excel systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization. Ability to pass a written test as part of the selection process. Ability to comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Reliable attendance and the ability to work required shifts and occasional weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced vocational training, technical certification, or related degree. Five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of facility systems such as compressed air, HVAC, and electrical distribution. Experience using CMMS software. Forklift certification. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
