We install chain link, ornamental, wood, vinyl, guard railing, and temporary fence for commercial and industrial fence projects. In 1996, the decision was made to stop installing residential jobs to focus our business on commercial, industrial, sports facilities, and fence rental projects. Crew Leader Job Summary A Crew Leader is the #1 person on a fence installation crew and reports directly to the Project Manager and the Owners.

Join our dynamic team as a Crew Leader specializing in professional fence installation. As a leader of a construction crew, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate team efforts, and ensure high-quality installation of commercial fences. Your expertise in construction, carpentry, and site management will drive project success while fostering a safe and efficient work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead skilled tradespeople and contribute to transforming outdoor spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Duties Lead and supervise a team of fence installers, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress on multiple projects Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery required for fence installation and related construction activities Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Conduct quality control inspections on completed work, including framing, masonry, concrete finishing, and landscape integration Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, materials used, and safety compliance records Requirements Proven experience in construction with a focus on carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, or concrete forming Strong leadership skills with previous experience supervising a crew in a construction or fencing environment Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques Knowledge of concrete finishing, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and assembly processes Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to fencing and landscape projects Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Physical stamina for long days involving heavy lifting, bending, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Physical Requirements Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and other fence installation tools and machinery. + Must be able to manually lift up to 80 pounds. + Qualified applicants must have an active Driver License and be able to drive company trucks and equipment as required. RGF will pay for your required Medical Card to drive company vehicles if you don't already have one.
