Job Description

Maintenance Technician Shift:
1st & 2nd shifts
Location:
Lebanon, TN Pay:
$30-38.50/hr. Our client, a tier-one automotive supplier specializing in high-strength structural components and precision stamping assemblies, is in need of maintenance technician for their Lebanon, TN facility on 1st and 2nd shifts. The position is direct with competitive hourly rate and benefit package.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our operations team at our Lebanon, TN facility. This role is critical to maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and production requirements. This position reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and Manager.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including stamping presses, robotic systems, and assembly lines Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery according to specifications Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in the maintenance management system Maintain inventory of spare parts and submit purchase requests when necessary Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance Assist in training junior maintenance personnel Perform facility maintenance as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair Electrical systems maintenance and repair Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge Preventative maintenance planning and execution Blueprint and schematic reading Welding and fabrication PLC programming and troubleshooting CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) operation Root cause analysis Safety protocols and procedures compliance Technical documentation and record keeping Hand and power tool operation Equipment installation and setup Inventory management of parts and supplies Basic computer skills Communication and teamwork abilities Problem-solving and critical thinking
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing High School diploma or equivalent required Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred Experience with stamping press maintenance and repair Knowledge of robotic systems maintenance Experience with preventative maintenance programs Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems Experience with electrical troubleshooting (480V systems) Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Experience with welding and fabrication techniques Proven track record of minimizing equipment downtime Ability to work various shifts as needed Valid driver's license
