A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Schedule:

Should be able to repair and maintain the property through assigned work orders and preventative maintenance. Maintenance employees are required to keep accurate records of completed work orders, this includes being responsible for noting all time and materials utilized during completion of work. When needed must be able to coordinate with vendors and contractors in a scheduling manner that allows for the most efficient completion time. Required to participate in on-call schedule for emergencies. Should have the necessary knowledge to handle, diagnose and repair any plumbing, electrical or general maintenance request in vacant and occupied living units.
