Position:

The Production Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities include:

• Perform safe and efficient conduct of production maintenance operations.
• Perform daily tasks as assigned for production support as well as any special project tasks as directed by the maintenance manager.
• Responsible for performing maintenance/set up for lines and consistently following proper standard operating procedures and correctly completing needed signature verifications for related paperwork.
• Assist management in creating and improving upon procedures that will enhance maintenance efficiency.
• Perform proper documentation of completion of preventive maintenance logs and assignments.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and enforce MCP environmental programs.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience 5 - 8 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting. With a strong preference given to those candidates with packaging maintenance Exceptional people and leadership skills Background in electromechanical troubleshooting and repair Background in pneumatic troubleshooting and repair Have a good attitude of job ownership and integrity
