Our guests come here to relax, explore the mountains, and enjoy a clean, comfortable stay. Behind every great guest experience is a well-maintained property — and that starts with strong maintenance team. We are looking for a maintenance technician who takes pride in keeping systems running smoothly, solving problems before guests ever notice them, and maintaining a property to a high standard. The Opportunity This role is more than a maintenance position — it's an opportunity to take ownership of the property's systems and standards. Preventative Maintenance & Systems Oversight Lead preventative maintenance programs for: HVAC systems Plumbing Electrical systems Pool equipment Mechanical and building systems Monitor building performance and recommend repairs or improvements Maintain mechanical areas and equipment to professional standards Hands-On Engineering Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas Diagnose HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues Perform general maintenance repairs throughout the property Respond to urgent maintenance issues and on-call situations as scheduled Safety, Compliance & Property Standards Ensure the property meets safety and operational standards Maintain inspection logs and maintenance documentation Assist with pool operations, exterior maintenance, and property upkeep Support overall appearance and functionality of the hotel Communication & Reporting Track work orders and preventative maintenance schedules Communicate clearly with the General Manager and front desk team Provide recommendations for: Repairs Capital improvements Vendor services when needed What We're Looking For Experience 2+ years of maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial property Strong working knowledge of: HVAC systems Plumbing Electrical systems Mechanical equipment Experience prioritizing work based on guest impact and safety Professional Skills Strong problem-solving ability Organized and reliable Comfortable working in occupied guest rooms with professionalism Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance work Preferred Certifications (Not required but highly valued) HVAC Certification EPA Universal Certification Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Schedule Full-time position 8-hour shifts 5-day workweek Weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation required Benefits Paid Time Off Employee Hotel Discounts Stable year-round employment Consistent schedule Opportunity to grow into senior property leadership Why Join Our Team You'll work directly with leadership and have the opportunity to influence preventative maintenance, improvements, and the long-term condition of the property.
