Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and leading small teams when necessary. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and diagnostic tools. Fabricate parts as needed, including welding components for repairs. Operate and maintain logic controllers, ensuring proper functionality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used. Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become significant problems. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with production needs. Qualifications Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Strong electrical knowledge, including the use of an ohmmeter for testing circuits. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and blueprints. Experience in fabricating parts and performing welding tasks is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation in industrial settings. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities for 2nd shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
