Job Description

Taylor County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Building Cleaner.
Job Duties:
Keeps buildings in a clean and orderly condition Cleans, stocks and supplies designated facility areas Dusts, sweeps, vacuums, mops, cleans ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc. Performs and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities Carries out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects Notifies management of occurring deficiencies or need for repairs Makes adjustments and minor repairs Stocks and maintains supply rooms Cooperates with the rest of the staff Follows all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a cleaner Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Integrity High school diploma or GED Ability to lift 50 lbs Extensive criminal history and background investigation
Starting Salary:
