Job Description
Part-Time Maintenance Technician La Villa De Alton Apartments - Alton, TX Part-Time | 20 Hours per Week | $14.00 per Hour Job Overview La Villa De Alton Apartments is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Technician to assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our apartment community. This position will work approximately 20 hours per week and is ideal for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and comfortable performing a variety of maintenance, groundskeeping, and apartment turnover duties. Responsibilities Assist with moving, removing, and replacing appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and other household appliances. Assist with apartment make-ready and turnover tasks. Trash out vacant units and properly dispose of unwanted items and debris. Perform general groundskeeping and help maintain the appearance of the community. Pick up trash and debris throughout the property and common areas. Assist with minor maintenance and repair tasks as directed. Help move maintenance supplies, equipment, and materials as needed. Assist the maintenance team with preparing vacant apartments for new residents. Maintain maintenance and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Follow property safety procedures while performing assigned duties. Perform other maintenance and property-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance, general maintenance, construction, landscaping, or similar experience is preferred but not required. Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. Ability to safely lift and move appliances, equipment, and other heavy items with assistance. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
