The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, versatile problem solver with experience in general construction, plumbing, home renovations, building maintenance, lawn care, and a variety of repair projects. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling different types of projects and takes pride in completing work safely, efficiently, and with quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform general construction, handyman, and building maintenance repairs. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of buildings, equipment, and property. Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance, including addressing leaks, clogged drains, fixtures, and other common plumbing issues. Assist with home renovations and remodeling projects, including demolition, installation, repairs, and finishing work. Perform basic carpentry, including repairing doors, installing fixtures, replacing trim, shelving, and completing other minor construction projects. Complete drywall repairs, patching, painting, and touch-ups for interior and exterior areas. Assist with basic electrical maintenance, including replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, and troubleshooting minor issues within the individual's level of experience. Assist with basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting when appropriate. Install and replace fixtures, hardware, appliances, and other property components. Perform lawn cutting, lawn care, landscaping, and general exterior property maintenance. Maintain clean and safe interior and exterior areas. Identify maintenance problems and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions. Use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and properly. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies. Coordinate with outside contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are required. Assist with larger renovation, construction, or property improvement projects as needed. Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance and repair requests. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in construction, handyman services, property maintenance, building maintenance, or home renovations preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repairs. Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is a plus. Experience with lawn maintenance and lawn-cutting equipment. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and general maintenance equipment. Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine practical repair solutions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Dependable, punctual, organized, and trustworthy. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to coordinate with contractors or assist with overseeing projects when necessary. Knowledge of general construction and workplace safety practices.
