Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Behavioral Safety Compliance :
Conduct daily safety sweeps of residential rooms, common spaces, and secured courtyards to identify and immediately remediate potential self-harm hazards (anti-ligature compliance).
Specialized Equipment Upkeep :
Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on commercial laundry machines and commercial kitchen equipment to ensure uninterrupted residential operations.
Grounds & Courtyard Maintenance :
Maintain the safety and structural integrity of secured outdoor courtyards, perimeter fencing, and recreational spaces.
General Facility Repairs :
Patch drywall, paint surfaces, service commercial door hardware, clear plumbing blockages, and handle minor electrical repairs.
On-Call Rotation :
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to respond promptly to after-hours building emergencies affecting patient safety or facility operations.
Regulatory Documentation :
Maintain accurate, audit-ready logs for fire drills, water temperatures, backup generator testing, and life safety equipment.
Qualifications & Skills Education :
High school diploma or GED equivalent; trade school or technical certification is a plus.
Experience :
Minimum 2-3 years of facility maintenance experience, preferably in a residential healthcare, behavioral health, or inpatient setting.
Technical Knowledge :
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting commercial kitchen appliances, laundry systems, or industrial HVAC/plumbing equipment.
Situational Awareness :
High level of discretion and safety awareness when working around vulnerable patients in a recovery environment.
Physical Demands :
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
