BE DEPENDABLE MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE BETWEEEN TWO LOCATIONS
Responsibilities of the Make Ready Technician Check all lights and replace as necessary. Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets. Check applicable appliances and inform senior maintenance technician of problems. Assist in changing or removing appliances from apartment. Make keys when necessary. Check faucets sink plugs and repairs/replaces as necessary. Perform exterior repairs to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted. Assist with painting duties when requested. Repair or replace curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, etc. Inspect bathroom tiles, performs minor repairs/replacements. Change A/C filters. Operate carpet cleaning equipment to clean carpets. Lend assistance during trash-out of apartment; e.g., moving heavy/bulk. Touch-up paint and texture Perform "on-call" duties as scheduled. Notify the Property Manager of any potential mechanical or structural problems. Perform work orders for the apartment community at the Property Manager's direction Responsibilities for Assistant Maintenance also include . Perform Minor Repairs From replacing bulbs and ballasts in light fixtures to repairing leaking sinks and toilets, a make-ready must have the ability to complete minor repairs to various equipment and facilities to ensure ongoing operations of a facility. This responsibility also includes inspecting equipment and systems for preventive maintenance reasons EPA Certification is a plus with top pay We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall functionality of our facilities.Requirements:
- Proficient in English (verbal and written communication)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
